Yuletide Bright

Tis' The Season to be Merry!

Christmas is on it's way

All I can say is "WOW" the first three weeks (almost) here at Salvage Goods has been a blast! Absolute blast! Easton ROCKS! We couldn't imagine doing anything else and wonder now, why it took us so long to realize a dream. All I can say people is if you have a dream, go to that edge and jump! Make the plunge, if you are waiting for the ideal time when all the planets align you might miss the boat... Excuses, procrastination is fear... fears lead to regrets... the time is now if you been contemplating a major move in your life. OK enough of the preaching, tis the season to be thankful and we couldn't be more thankful if we tried (well maybe if Elon Musk came in and bought Salvage Goods for as much as he paid for Twitter). We have embraced Easton and it has embraced us!

Big Plans Ahead!

So many ideas and plans we have for embracing the community and doing events it makes our head spin thinking about them. For instance, did you realize that 24 South 3rd street (that would be us) is the 3rd oldest building in Easton? Or that it was the location of Easton's first jail? Neither did we!!! That got us thinking about the history and all the history in the items of our store... We plan on coming up with a teaching plan and inviting schools to bring children in to learn about history, to value it by touching it and teaching the stories behind some of the things that reside within our walls... we are going to completely redesign the courtyard out back (aptly named "The Salvage Yard") and hold events out there! We plan on having more events in the store, interactive fun with you, our customers!! Our goal is to be much more than an antique shop... growing up I always equated antique stores to some stuffy "dead" place that smelled funny... we WILL break that mold!

The Interwebz... aka all that computer stuff

The truth is we are a fun crew.. a little "off" at times but insanely funny and quirky... we plan on sharing our adventures both in the store and on the road for the world to see... We spend a lot of time cracking each other up and hopefully some of you will find humor in that as well. We are launching a Tik Tok channel, a Youtube channel, along with our Instagram and Facebook channel.. I even started a Twitter channel to hopefully get Elon's attention to give us billions for Salvage Goods! During the cold months don't forget about us, the online store is starting to populate and we do ship! We also list on Marketplace and soon on Instagram as well...

BOTTOM LINE: We here at Salvage Goods really do want to wish you and yours the very happiest of the season, hug a little longer, engage each other a little more, remember to say "I love you" to the ones that need to hear it.... Merry Christmas and if we don't see you before then, Have a very happy New Year!! New opportunities await, seize them!
