WWII USN Foul Weather Alpaca Parka with Hood. Circa 1945. This deck jacket is in great vintage condition. These heavy parkas could cover a sailor in uniform from head to just below the knees with wide deep pockets large enough to be used when wearing gloves. There is also a buttoned tab on the rear hem which can be attached to the bottom button on the front to prevent billowing of the foul weather parka in heavy winds and snow drifts. Knit sleeves to keep the wind out, large size 42 to fit over uniforms with a 1945 WWII contract number. Check out the photos to see the condition.
