This unique covered soup tureen features exquisite hand-painted decoration with richly colored butterflies, florals, and strikingly detailed feathers—all beautifully executed in raised, molded relief for a truly textured and tactile surface. The craftsmanship is evident in every brushstroke and the intricate embossed patterns, reflecting late Qing to early Republic era export ware traditions.
The base shows authentic, age-appropriate wear, kiln marks, and possible batch marks typical of artisan Chinese porcelain from the turn of the 20th century.
